Don't feel much like typing tonight, so here's a photo of the lasagna we had for dinner. A picture is worth a thousand words (clearly by the photo you can see how happy I am about the lasagna).
Hey, it's a meal; was it edible? Well, I've got a marsupial story for you on the home front myself. It seems we have a family of opossums settled in the backyard, or garage. It's not the first time, but it's been a few years since I've seen them walking the fence line at night and Connor barking up a storm. A few nights back I opened the kitchen door to the garage and noticed a baby possum lying on some towels in front of the washing machine. Yikes! Just last night as I was working on stitching a pillow, I thought I heard a scratching in the garage. I opened the kitchen door and was greeted by "two" baby opposums right at the door looking at me. I screamed and slammed the door shut, as they surprised me, but they were very cute. Apparently, while leaving the garage door and back door open they slipped in the garage and got shut-in. I composed myself and quickly opened the kitchen door and flipped the switch to open up the garage door and they scampered out to the front yard. They might be living in an old hollow tree trunk out back or in the eculyptus trees. Connor was oblivious to them being in the garage. While he stalks the trees, they slip into the garage--smart! What was the whale count today? Take care; talk with you soon.
Wow mom, maybe you should start a blog yourself. Reef would have noticed the possums for sure. Today so far has been slow, we had a pod of 5 on my shift this morning and that was it. I have a 3 hour shift in 15 minutes, hopefully we'll see more than.
This blogging is fun and a great way to keep in touch. Your right, Reef would have been on duty. Hope all is well. You must be trying to catch up on your rest. Take care....
hahahahahaha...
ReplyDeleteYou have converted me. I made a blog about my NZ internship. http://cetaceajessica.blogspot.com
Nice, I knew you would turn. I'll check it out.
