Everyone has been talking about how good the northern lights were a few nights back. It could possibly have been the best show of this entire aurora season. Looking at the data, the storm peaked at a planetary index of 7, a class 3 geomagnetic storm. A massive river of charged particles with intense greens and bright pinks poured over the entire night sky.
